Elizabeth Bardos, Director

I spent my early childhood in Indiana and moved to the Memphis area in fifth grade. I completed my formal learning with my master’s degree from the University of Memphis, but I hope to continue learning until I take my last breath.

I started with Birthright in 2008 as a volunteer, fell in love with the mission, and have been working at Birthright since 2011.

I’m a single mom and grandmother. I love to spend time with my family, create scrapbooks, listen to music, and go for walks.

Kyleigh Glisson, Assistant Director

My journey at Birthright began as an intern in 2020 and then again in 2021. Upon completing my master’s in social work, I became part of the staff in January of 2022.

I am blessed to be involved in many different areas of Birthright. I meet directly with moms as they navigate their pregnancies, work closely with our wonderful volunteers, communicate with donors by creating monthly and quarterly newsletters, and help with fundraising through event planning and management.

I am captivated by the beauty that I see at Birthright. My goal is to honor the moms, donors, volunteers, and staff by giving my very best toward our important mission and letting them each know how valued they are by God and by me.

I love being outside, plants, reading, puzzles, music, playing games, and being a “mom” to my three dogs.

Timika Williams, Outreach Coordinator

I have been a part of the Birthright team since July of 2022. My love for Birthright began at the young age of 16 when I found out that I was pregnant with my son. I loved how supportive and encouraging they were. I walked out that day feeling empowered to have my son, and I knew I could and would.

Since that time, I have always wanted to do for other moms what was done for me. I wanted to encourage them in their journey toward motherhood, just like Birthright did for me that day. I am so excited that I get to serve in the role of Outreach Coordinator for Birthright now.

It is a full-circle move, and I could not be more grateful to share Birthright’s heart and mission with others within our community.

Rita Linder, Finance Manager

I am a native of Wichita, Kansas. An only child, I attended elementary and high school in Wichita. Following this, I received a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in psychology from St. Louis University.

Remaining in St. Louis while my husband completed his medical training, I then moved to Memphis, where I raised our 5 children. I have been with Birthright as a volunteer and now as a staff member since the Birthright office opened in Memphis in 1972.

I had no intention of volunteering with Birthright, but the Holy Spirit picked me out!

Kara Halley, Pregnancy Counselor

I get to meet with moms-to-be who come to us for support and talk with them about their situation and specific needs. I get to walk with them during their pregnancy journey, checking in every month or more. My goal is to meet each mom where she is in life and to support her as she prepares for motherhood.

I am a mom of four who struggled with infertility for years. Now that I have raised my kids, I can help moms just starting out or needing extra support and resources.

In my spare time, I love reading, doing puzzles, traveling, and spending time with people I love!

Gabby Keith, Administrative Assistant

As a Memphis native and a recent graduate of Christian Brothers University, I have a passion for giving back to Memphis, the city I am from. I find joy in helping our moms receive the resources and supplies that they need.

I have spent the majority of my career in the service industry, gaining experiences in areas such as hospitality and customer relations, which allows me to foster better relationships with our clients, and also to create a positive, supportive environment at the Birthright office!

I enjoy painting, tending my garden, and spending time with my dog and cat.
