	Organized in 1972, Birthright of Memphis is a non-profit, non-sectarian pregnancy counseling agency supported mainly by private contributions, staffed by social workers and sustained by the work of dedicated volunteers. Birthright exists to help women who are distressed by their pregnancies and to offer them a true alternative to abortion. In 2007, we served over 3,000 women in Memphis and the Mid-South.
